Story - 4.5/5
Super interesting from start to finish! I thought the premise was really unique. I really enjoyed the direction they went with by making Rumi a demon having to fight other demons. How she had to learn to accept herself instead of hiding it and wishing it would go away. I love how this guilt and shame of hers grew so much to the point she lost her voice, the very thing she thought she needed to will away her markings. I also thought it was cool how they aren't the first demon hunters, and how throughout the generations trios of singers were continuing to fight demons and keep the honmoon alive.
The Saja Boys were really interesting villains. Jinu's story, in particular, was really intriguing. I do wish we had gotten to see the backstories of the other Saja Boys, though.
Characters - 4.5/5
Each of the characters were really interesting and had such great designs! Even the side characters were very memorable and hilarious like Bobby and Healer Han. My favorite characters would have to be Mira, Mystery Saja and Baby Saja. My only complaint would be I wish they had developed the other Saja Boys, outside of Jinu, more. I think all the characters work really together as well, especially the main trio and Rumi's relationship with Jinu. Actually, Huntr/x in general with the Saja Boys was both great and really funny.
Graphics - 5/5
The graphics were absolutely stunning. From the style to the lighting, the colors, the camera angles, everything. A lot of work was put into the visual department and it shows. It was especially beautiful whenever any fight scenes or musical numbers were happening. I also really loved the effects they'd do when characters were making extreme facial expressions.
Soundtrack - 5/5
If it wasn't the graphics, the biggest highlight of this movie would have to be the music. I had never really explored KPop music before watching this movie so I was a bit skeptical at first. But, the music was so good and it really added to each of its respective scenes. It was packed full of excitement, action, and emotion. My favorite tracks would have to be "TAKEDOWN" and "How It's Done". I really like how aggresive they sound.
Final thoughts
Overall, this movie was amazing! It didn't surprise me how good graphically this movie was since it was by the same studio that made "Into the Spiderverse". I really enjoyed its story as well as its characters, and especially its soundtrack. I have very few issues with this movie, and the few I do have don't dissuade me from wanting to rewatch it over and over again.
