Rating: 4.5/5

This OST holds such a special place in my heart. Not only because its from one of my favorite games ever, but also because it's so beautifully composed and holds so many memories for me. I put so many hours into this game that each song feels like a warm embrace and like coming back home. My favorite parts of this OST would have to be the dungeon themes and boss battle themes. I also really love the instruments they used for each song as well.

DISC 1

1. "Opening" - 5/5

Just hearing the beginning of the song makes me so emotional. I've always loved the intro theme to this game and the cutscene that plays during it. When I first listened to it I had no idea what journey I was about to go on and hearing it made me so excited. Hearing it now reminds me of all the great memories of the adventures I went on in this game.

While being another rendition of the opening theme from every Mystery Dungeon game, I always fancied this one in particular. The use of the trumpets, drums, and violins really emphasises how grand of a journey you'll be going on.

2. "Main Menu" - 5/5

Ahhh, this one really feels like home. Such a cozy tune! Another rendition of the Main Menu theme used in other Mystery Dungeon games, this one puts a really cute spin to it! I love the use of the xylophone-like instrument used for the main notes of the song. I also love the background notes, which are a staple within this game's OST.

3. "I Look Like a Pokemon!" - 5/5

Remember how I said in the previous track that sound was a staple in this game's soundtrack? Here's that in practice, again, and it'll pop up in so many more tracks too! Anyway, this plays when you're picking what Pokémon to play as. I think it's a great rendition of the songs that play during this section in other Mystery Dungeon games. This song always felt so mystical and magical. I really love the use of the bells in this song as well as the violins(?), they really add to that vibe. Those too also are a staple in this game's soundtrack.

4. "Our First Meeting" - 5/5

Played when you first meet your partner Pokémon, this song is precious! Once again, the xylophone-like instrument in the back is probably my favorite part of this song, as well as the instrument used for the main notes. All around it's just a very happy tune!

5. "Ragged Mountain" - 5/5

One of my top favorites from this OST, I've listened to Ragged Mountain over and over again so much. I think it's the perfect song for the first dungeon of the game. The intro, in particular, is my favorite bit with how it starts off all quiet before blooming into the main portion of the song. You can actually hear those same beginning notes repeating throughout parts of the song in the background.

6. "Dungeon Cleared!" - 5/5

A very simple little tune to indicate you've cleared a Dungeon! It's so memorable for me, I love it a lot! It's like a happy noise for my brain.

7. "Paradise!" - 5/5

Not much to say about this one since it only ever plays once, but it certainly hypes up getting your own Paradise!

8. "Title Sequence" - 4/5
This one always made me a bit emotional since it shares some notes with "Theme of Hope". Overall, it's pretty alright, and just serves to play while the title sequence shows.

9. "Pokemon Paradise" - 3/5
The weaker of the songs that play for Paradise, and also one of the weaker tracks of this OST. That's not to say its bad though, just too simple for my tastes. It does serve it's purpose though, being the first ever track to play for Paradise. And I think it reflects how Paradise is in the beginning, empty and not full of life.

10. "Come On In To Post Town" - 5/5

Another cozy track, this one also makes me feel at home. I think it suits Post Town a lot, since the town is a relaxing place that isn't bustling.

11. "The Carpenter of Post Town" - 2/5
Another weaker one of this OST, though compared to "Pokémon Paradise" I don't really like this one. It's way too simple and quiet in my opinion. It definetely does give off the vibe that something is wrong with the Carpenter but I think they could of done something different with this track.

12. "Stony Cave" - 5/5

Whenever I hear this one I wanna start doing the do-si-do like I used to back in school! It certainly does not sound like something that would play in a cave, but I can't even knock off points for that since this track is an absolute blast.

13. "That is Odd..." - 3/5
While nowhere near my favorite, this little tune is pretty alright. I like how silly sounding it is, though.

14. "Item Obtained!" - 5/5

I love this little tune a lot, it plays in my head sometimes randomly throughout the day! Whenever I hear it I always think of the little dance your Pokémon do and then they point towards the sky.

15. "Great Job!" - 5/5

The best victory music ever, it brings me so much joy I almost wanna dance when hearing it! Your Pokémon always do a little dance and pose happily whenever this plays too.

16. "Dungeon Failed" - 5/5

Man, this music used to scare me as a kid, especially with the noise that follows after if you lost any of your items. I love it, but also feel dread whenever I listen to it.

17. "Hazy Pass" - 5/5

Another great theme for one of the beginning dungeons! While I do prefer the Highlands version of this song, this version is also a great treat in and of itself!

18. "The Voices In The Dreams" - 3/5
Not one of my favorites, but I can appreciate this track for the instrument used for the main notes since I like it a lot. I also like how the maracas in the background alternate between each ear when using headphones.

19. "The Coming Danger" - 5/5

Bringing back the original Danger theme from Red/Blue Rescue Team that the Explorers series missed out on, now that's what I'm talking about! I've always loved this song a lot, you KNEW a big battle was coming up once this started playing. I always loved the xylophone-like notes that would play throughout the song. Like little calls of hope to remind you you can get through this!

20. "Boss Battle!" - 5/5

I can see it now, the fade sequence right before the battle starts and them Bam! this theme starts blasting. I always loved doing boss battles with this playing in the background, made everything so much more hyped.

21. "Despair - Light Arrangement" - 5/5

Quite a sad one this is, playing during that whole scene with Gurdurr. I still remember it like it was yesterday, Gurdurr being framed by the moon and showing us his scar. I think the best part of this song is towards the middle, it sounds less sound and more like true despair there.

22. "Despair - Super Light Arrangement" - 5/5

This song feels so empty, lost, like you have no more hope in the world. I love it a lot, I think I like this version more than the Light version. This sounds like true despair. Also sounds like a great song to fall asleep to.

23. "Hope - Light Arrangement 1" - 4/5

Defintely a lighter version of "Theme of Hope", this one is pretty good! Whenever I hear it though, I'm always expecting the main part from "Theme of Hope" to kick in so it feels like I'm stuck on some cliffhanger.

24. "Hazy Pass (Highlands)" - 5/5

Another one of my top favorites from this OST. For one of the earlier dungeons, this theme feels so dire and mysterious. All the ones before this were so high energy and cheerful, and this one feels like the stakes have really risen and it's no fun and games anymore.

25. "Hope - Light Arrangement 2" - 5/5

I could imagine this being in Pokémon Sleep, it makes me want to go to bed. I really love the instrument they use with this one, it's so soothing.

26. "Stompstump Peak" - 5/5

Another top favorite from this OST, and most of that credit is going towards the beginning of this song. The rest of the song is wonderful, but the beginning in particular I can't help but replay over and over again. It's also one of my favorite dungeons to explore too. I also really love the gong that's used as well midway into the song, you don't hear gongs enough in OSTs!

27. "Mysterious World" - 5/5

A nice rendition of "I Look Like a Pokémon!", gives more relaxed vibes compared to the original. It gives me the message of "This world is still mysterious but I know more, and I feel more comfortable being here.".

28. "What's Wrong with Everyone" - 5/5

This song is just super goofy, and I love it. I love the instrument use within this track, it adds to its bizarre and funny sound.

29. "Desolate Canyon" - 5/5

With a name like that you'd expect something very dark sounding, but this song is actually reall chill with an air of mystery towards the middle. Overall, it's pretty good.

30. "The Coming Danger - Arrangement" - 5/5

Basically a slower and lower version of "The Coming Danger". I won't knock off points for this one since I do quite like it, and I like how it makes you feel like an even greater danger is upon you. I think I might like it a little better than the original because it feels more dire.

31. "Pokemon Friends" - 3/5
I won't lie, the percussion of this song reminds me a lot of Wigglytuff's Guild, though I'm not sure if this was done intentionally. Regardless, this one is pretty alright. I think the best part of this track would have to be the xylophone-like instrument used for the main part.

32. "Theme of Hope" - 4/5

This song, not matter how many times I listen to it, makes my throat close up and my eyes fill with tears. It's so beautifully composed and is so emotional. I think it's title fits really well, it really does fill you with hope for the future. The times may be rough now but they always get better.

33. "Theme of Hope (March)" - 5/5

I wanted to point out a very interesting bit about this track. 0:20 seconds in are the same notes that play during "The Bittercold (Second Battle)"'s main section. That is something I never noticed as a kid. It makes me appreciate this song so much more that the Bittercold's leitmotif was reused in other songs, as a bit of foreshadowing. "Theme of Hope"'s leitmotif also kicks in midway through, to also remind us that despite the danger the Bittercold brings hope will always guide us through it.

34. "Pokemon Paradise Reprise" - 5/5

This theme is definietely a step up compared to the first version. The added string instrument was what that song needed to make it feel not as bland. It still feels simple and empty but that fits well with how Paradise is still not as developed at this point. The choir kicking midway towards the song is also a really nice addition.

35. "The V-Wheeeeel!!!" - 4/5
What can I say? V-Wheeeeeeeeeeel!!!!!!!! (It's pretty alright).

36. "Spin the V-Wheel!" - 5/5

Compared to the previous song, which was quite relaxing, this one sounds chaotic and exciting. I feel like this fits Victini's personality a lot more, and it's what I asscociated with the V-Wheel most.

37. "V-Wave Changed!" - 4/5
A cute little soundeffect.

38. "V-Wheel Lose" - 5/5

I like this more than the Changed sound effect, its such a silly little tune!

39. "Kecleon Shop" - 5/5

It's the Kecleon shop, can't go wrong with it! A great rendition of it, might I say. Not much else I have to say other than, it's the Kecleon shop!

40. "Stop, Thief!" - 5/5

A song I wouldn't wish on my worst enemey. I mean that in the best way possible, I tried to avoid hearing this as much as possible. It always used to scare me as a kid since I would always get my ass kicked by Kecleon! Man he's insanely fast.

41. "Icy Sanctum - Arrangement 1" - 5/5

Oh I always loved the Icy Sanctum songs from this game, they're always so beautiful. They're songs I hold very close to my heart and bring me so much nostalgia. They really capture the magic and mystical-ness of the Great Glacier. It does play in other sections of the game outside of being related to the Great Glacier, and whenever it does it always make the moment feel so special.

42. "Inflora Forest" - 5/5

I always loved this dungeon, a big reason being this wonderful music that goes with it. It's so calming and soothing and definetely screams "forest". I do like midway through the song the tone shifts a little, to remind you this place still is dangerous.

43. "Touched By Kindness" - 5/5

Still keeping the vibe of "Inflora Forest", I don't have too much to say about this one but it's still pretty nice.

44. "Good Night" - 4/5

Simple but very cute and calming! The perfect bedtime song.

45. "At the End of the Dungeon" - 5/5

A wonderful rendition of "At the End of the Road" from Red/Blue Rescue Team. Another one that Explorers missed out on, and I'm so sad about that! Luckily it returned in this game and I have to say, it's beautifully composed. I like it more than Red/Blue Rescue Team's version. It's so mystical and mysterious sounding.

46. "Pokemon Friends - Arrangement" - 3/5

This one's beginning sounds even MORE like Wigglytuff's Guild. Overall, much like original it's still pretty alright, nothing too special about it. I feel like it's a little plainer than the original to be honest.

DISC 2

1. "Crags of Lament" - 5/5

Always loved this song, and the name of the dungeon itself is really cool. It gives off very "rocky" vibes, which matches its location. Midway through the song the tone shifts to really give the sense you're on a great adventure. It then shifts to a darker tone to remind you this place isn't safe and you need to remain careful.

2. "Within the Crags of Lament" - 5/5

As much as I liked the previous song this one blows it out of the water. This is another of my top favorite tracks, its just so damn good. I like to consider "Crags of Lament" the Lightside version while this one being the "Darkside". This one just sounds so eerie and dangerous, I love the atmosphere. I could totally see this playing in some volcanic dungeon, it has those vibes.

3. "Dreams and Hope" - 5/5

Another great song to fall asleep to, this game really has made multiple great lullaby songs, huh? I love how soft this one is, it definetely gives off "dreamy" vibes.

4. "Icy Sanctum - Arrangement 2" - 5/5

My favorite of the Icy Sanctum themes, it's definetely because of the choir. It really gives this song such a mysterious feel, especially combined with the elements from the previous Icy Sanctum.

5. "Magnagate" - 5/5

Man, this was one of the coolest parts of the game. And the music definetely added to the hype and wonder of Magnagates! While not one of my favorites, I can't deny the talent that went into this track so it stays at high points.

6. "A Friend's Decision" - 4/5
Also not a favorite, but this one is pretty good and emotional sounding.

7. "Telluric Path" - 5/5

I've always really loved the name of this area. The song itself is also really beautiful, so mysterious, and the notes that kick in close to a minute in through the song really add to it. The strange noises throughout... it conjures images of temples full of ruins into my brain.

8. "Icy Sanctum" - 5/5

Is it funny I prefer the arrangements to this song? This one is still pretty good though, and I like how it expands more on the song rather than how the arrangements were the same thing repeated over and over again. I just think its a little more plain sounding compared to the other two.

9. "Great Glacier" - 5/5

Good god it's Christmas! In all seriousness though, I love this theme a lot. I think it's a great introduction song to finally getting to the mysterious Great Glacier we've been hearing about all game! It also very much screams "This is a winter wonderland!" and "Your journey is only just beginning, adventurer!". I also find it noteworthy that this song ends in the same way "Ragged Mountain" does with descending notes.

10. "Great Glacier Underpass" - 5/5

A variation of "Telluric Path", this one giving it an even more mysterious sound with an icy twist. I quite love this one a lot too.

11. "Glacier Palace" - 5/5

This one definetely has a more dire sound to it, especially later into the song. Like a mix of winter wonderland, danger, and mystery.

12. "Glacier Palace (Reaches)" - 5/5

I really love that one repeating noise that plays in the background throughout the song. This one sounds even more dangerous and less winter wonderland-y. A brutal reminder that where you are is no place of fun.

13. "Deeper Dungeon Depths" - 5/5

This is another of my top favorites from this game's OST. I used to replay this like crazy in my own Paradise. It's taking everything great from the original version, "At the End of the Dungeon", and making it 100x better. It's so eerie and grand, like coming face to face with a God or something. The choir is what really made me love this track so much, I'm a sucker for choirs in VGMs.

14. "Sympathy and Sincerity" - 5/5

I need to say this, everytime I hear the beginning of the song it sounds like this song from The Polar Express. That's all I really gotta say about this one, other than it's quite pretty.

15. "Kilionea Road" - 5/5

Another variant of "Telluric Path", with this one sounding really trippy. I really like this one a lot, especially once the sound that goes between each of your ears kicks in.

16. "Monster House!" - 5/5

Monster House is back, baby! This variation in particular REALLY sounds like it belongs in some kind of sports game. Anyway, this is just the definition of anxiety shoved into a song. Great theme, just dread hearing it!

17. "Forest of Shadows" - 5/5

Both me and my mom agree this sounds straight out of Harry Potter, especially 0:10 seconds in. Anyway, this song is actually really beautiful. I've always loved this dungeon and the music that came with it. Especially once the pipes kick in, it's wonderful. The vibes of this song really add to the mystery and danger this dungeon brings.

18. "Hiding in the Shadows" - 5/5

You know how there are playlists out there on Youtube about creepy songs from otherwise non-creepy games? I'm surprised I never found this one on there, this is just downright creepy. Makes me wish we could get a Mystery Dungeon game with more creepier vibes.

19. "In the Dark" - 4/5

I remember a really cool cutscene played with this music. This sounds like something that would come from an older Mystery Dungeon game, I think its cuz of the buzzy instrument in the background.

20. "Daybreak Ridge" - 5/5

Perfectly captures the mood the story was in of "I need to run away as fast as possible!". I know realistically the enemies wouldn't of caught up with me ingame since they aren't programmed to but child me was so scared. I tried to get through this dungeon so fast because I thought I was being chased! And this music really added to that, it makes you feel like you have to rush.

21. "Daybreak Ridge (Highlands)" - 5/5

A more calmer rendition of the previous song, I think by now child me realized "Oh wait I can slow down". I think I prefer this version a little more with how it uses its instruments as well as the slightly calmer tone to it.

22. "Hydreigon's Ambush!" - 5/5

Here comes the best character of the game! It definetely gives the sense of being saved after such a dire situation. I love how it starts off all high energy, sharing the shock the player must feel after seeing him come in out of nowhere. It then calms to a more relaxed yet still joyful tune reflecting how the main characters are happy to be saved.

23. "Ochre Quarry" - 5/5

This was always an odd song to me, in a good way. The instruments used in the beginning give the introduction to this song such a strange vibe. After that though it goes right back into the adventurous sound most dungeon themes have. I really like this oddity! I remember reading a comment on Youtube that this song had the same goofy yet serious undertones that Hydreigon has and I couldn't agree more!

24. "Withered Savanna" - 5/5

Oh this song SCREAMS savanna. If I had never heard this before or knew the context I probably would of guessed this playing in some savanna setting. I love how after the beginning of the song it transitions into a song that reminds me of a great, grand adventure while still keeping those instruments in the background that gave it its savanna sound. This is such a good one, I love it a lot.

25. "Holehills" - 5/5

I would of said this one had a much more calmer vibe to it but I completely forgot about the drop at 1:00. The buildup to it is also really good. Child me never appreciated this song enough but upon relistening to it I've grown a really big appreciation for it.

26. "The Trap Is Set" - 4/5

It's really interesting hearing one of the iconic lighthearted instruments from this OST used in a somewhat eerier sense. I wish we could of gotten more of this to be honest, I really like it. Other than that, the track is pretty alright.

27. "Hydreigon Strikes!" - 4/5

I'd say this one isn't as exciting as "Hydreigon's Ambush!" but it gets the job done. And for what its worth its pretty alright, I do quite like the drums and horns used in the background. The intro is also pretty nice too.

28. "Hydreigon's Rescue" - 5/5

This is definetely a variation of "Hydreigon's Ambush!", or at the very least uses his leitmotif from that song. It's short, but really good! I also really love the drums at the beginning.

29. "Scorching Desert" - 5/5

Oh Scorching Desert, you're definetely a top favorite from this track without a doubt. This song is just downright gorgeous. I can't even pick a favorite part of the song, the entirety of it is absolute ear candy. I'm wondering if that main instrument used is a Qanun?

30. "Confronting Kyurem" - 5/5

Intimidating, so very intimidating. It matches Kyurem very well, a beast you should fear. It's simple but I think it provides enough atmosphere for me to give it quite a high rating.

31. "Despair - Heavy Arrangement" - 5/5

For when this songs plays in the game, it fits sooo well. This is my favorite variation of the Despair tracks. It truly feels so hopeless. I might consider this one of my top favorites since I really love it so much. You can hear bits and pieces of lighter tones trying to peek through, but getting sucked up by the sheer despair this song emits.

32. "Deepest Dungeon Depths" - 5/5

A much slower rendition of "Deeper Dungeon Depth", I also really love this one, though I do prefer the previous one a little more. This one feels even eerier, more hopeless, like meeting a God of Death instead.

33. "Hope - Light Arrangement 3" - 3/5
Probably my least favorite out of the Hope themes, that's not to say it's bad though. It's just a little too plain for my liking. Overall though, it's pretty alright. The part at 1:15 that kicks in is probably my favorite part.

34. "Deserted Town" - 5/5

More like ambience rather than a song. For what it's worth though, its quite peaceful (though with context it isn't). The water rushing and the wind is quite relaxing.

35. "Tyrian Maze" - 5/5

Another variation of "Telluric Path" and man, I also really love this one! Despite being the same pattern of notes over and over again, the composers knew how to make it into something interesting each time! I never get bored of these variations. This one sounds more higher energy, still with an air of mystery, but more magical and fantasical. It fits the area very well.

36. "Tyrian Maze (Inner Chamber)" - 5/5

One of my top favorites without a doubt. I love this track sooo much, I listen to it on repeat a lot. This is another variation of "Telluric Path" and is the best one in my opinion. This song in particular always reminds me more of the Gilded Halls than the original location it plays in. I also think it fits better there too, as this song evokes images of a room full of gold and treasure. The little noise at 1:42 that plays I always really liked for some reason. Don't think I could pick a favorite part, the whole song is just amazing.

DISC 3

1. "Glacier Palace (Eastern Spire)" - 5/5

We're up to the Spire songs now, which are real treats to listen to. We're back with that winter wonderland feel again, but this time kicking the mystical vibes up to 1,000. Despite that though, there is still the feeling that something is not right throughout the song. Midway through the song you can hear banging and faraway noises, reminding you you're not alone here.

2. "Glacier Palace (Western Spire)" - 5/5

Another top favorite, it's just way too good. With a much more despair-filled tone compared to the previous track, it really encaptulates the situation you're in. It still has glimpses of hope and mysticalness seeping through, yet the feeling of dread is all around you.

3. "Glacier Palace (Great Spire)" - 5/5

Forget the dread of the previous track, we're in a winter wonderland again! I find it funny how it takes such a tone shift with the next spire, but it makes up for it with the vibes of your great journey about to reach its climax. I also really love how "Theme of Hope" kicks in at 1:10, and what a perfect place to kick in too. Really fits for this final dungeon theme. 1:40 the dread kicks in, reminding you of where you are and what you're about to face (so much for the winter wonderland!). 2:32 is also really interesting since the leitmotif from "Theme of Hope (March)" which is in reference to the Bittercold's final battle makes its return (fitting!). Honestly, this entire song is such a great ride.

4. "The Dream" - 5/5

Simple, but very very pretty. So dreamy sounding (which is fitting). I love how the noises go between each of your ears when using headphones.

5. "The Nightmaere" - 2/5
I can't help but hear the sound effects from that beginning cutscene of Hydreigon chasing Munna. It serves its purpose but this is probably the most boring track of the OST.

6. "Kyurem's Grand Entrance" - 4/5

I had to relisten to this so many times because I got my ass whooped by Kyurem so much. Also I don't know if I'm going crazy but I swear I hear "The Nightmare" playing very low in the background of this song. Overall, its alright, it fits the vibe of how menacing Kyurem is.

7. "Clash with Kyurem!" - 5/5

When I tell you I relistened to this SO much as a kid. I wanted to be just like Kyurem. I would play this and go around pretending I was Kyurem ready to destroy anything that came in my way. Anyway, this is definetely a top favorite, wow this is such a great boss theme. Probably one of my favorite boss themes in a video game ever. It still sends chills down my spine, especially the build up and climax of this song. It's so scary and intimidating and I think it fits Kyurem so well.

8. "The Bittercold" - 5/5

If you ever had to encapsulate despair perfectly in a song, it'd be this. There is no hope within this theme, the end of the world is happening now and this track wants you to know that. The whispering in this song is also really creepy, I'm not sure if it translates to anything?

9. "The Realm of the Bittercold" - 3/5

It sounds like the inside of a stomach a little, I won't lie. Also gives off very alien-y vibes, along with the cold wins blowing through. Really simple, very eerie.

10. "I Can Hear It, Too..." - 4/5
Brings back the hope in our hearts after being confronted by the literal embodiment of Despair! I love the little repeating notes, its quite cute.

11. "The Bittercold (First Battle)" - 5/5

I really like the what I can only describe as "technical" sound that kicks in nearly a minute into the song. Other than that I don't have too much to say other than it's a pretty good song for the Bittercold's first battle. It doesn't have as much hype to it, but that fits with it being just the first battle. Oh, and I do also love the "icy" sound to it a lot.

12. "Winds of Despair" - 3/5
The sound of despair is back once more. Overall, this song is pretty alright. I find it a little too bland but its not bad.

13. "Voice of Support" - 5/5

I think of this song quite often, the repeating notes always stuck with me. This is a more higher version of "I Can Hear It, Too...". You can also hear "Theme of Hope (March)" in this as well!

14. "Bring Back the Rainbows!" - 3/5
I swear you can hear glimpses of "Theme of Hope" in this in the beginning. Overall, it's alright, nothing too noteworthy.

15. "The Bittercold (Second Battle)" - 5/5

Now THIS is a final boss battle theme! Oh, this is a top favorite, I've relistened to this so many times. It always gives me chills. I love how it incorporates "Theme of Hope (March)" into the song, reminding you you can't lose hope! This song has so much hype and really encapsulates the idea that the entire fate of the world rests on your shoulders. I love every single part of this song, its way too good!

16. "We're Back... and Now" - 5/5

A wonderful song to relax to after everything that has happened. The part at 1:10 always makes me emotional, its so beautifully composed.

17. "The Rainbows Appearing..." - 5/5

More sound effect than song, but I still really enjoy it. I've always loved the sparkly sound effect that's used in game.

18. "The Rainbows of Hope" - 5/5

This one is super pretty, like really pretty. I never appreciated it enough as a kid, so it almost feels like I'm listening to it anew.

19. "Celebration of Peace" - 5/5

I really love how this sounds like a variation of Post Town, it honestly might even be considered one to be honest. I swear it sounds like it has hints of the later Paradise themes too. My favorite part would have to be at 2:05, I really like the sequence of notes there.

20. "A Home to Remember" - 5/5

A very emotional and beautiful theme, with those mystical elements tied in. It's quite soothing too, actually, I could fall asleep to this.

21. "Wrapped in Light (Intro)" - 3/5
Ough, this is where things start to get really emotional. I don't have too much to say about this one, but it is pretty.

22. "Wrapped in Light" - 4/5
Man, even just hearing this song gets me all emotional. I can still see the scene now of my main character being whisked away from the Pokémon world. It made child me cry so much, and even replays of this game it still makes me cry.

23. "One Last Look At Paradise" - 4/5
Another emotional one. Don't have too much to say about this one, it is pretty though.

24. "Even If You Forget Me..." - 5/5

Probably my favorite out of these emotional tracks. I'm not sure what the noise is but at certain points during the song it either sounds like a breath or a hawk screeching but lower sort of. Weirdly, at 1:10 I'm reminded of Scarlet and Violet's music? Like especially for the Area Zero Depths in the crystal area. Despite most of this game's soundtrack having that "crystaly" sound, that part in particular reminded me of it. Anyway, overall this song is quite pretty and I quite like the choir parts a lot.

25. "The Frism" - 5/5

What can I say? What a beautiful track this one is. And just when you think it can't get any better at 2:35 "Theme of Hope" kicks in once again. To remind us of what we've been through, to never lose hope, and to send us off.

26. "Closing Words" - 4/5
Sike I lied, "Theme of Hope" is back again. A short and sweet one this time though. Our TRUE sendoff.

27. "Staff Roll" - 5/5

And here's the credits theme! With a beautiful rendition of "Opening"! What a wonderful and beautiful way to send off such a great game.

28. "Pokemon Paradise Final" - 5/5

The last variation of the Paradise themes, and my favorite one out of the three. This one brings me so much nostalgia since I spent so much time post-game upgrading and hanging at my Paradise. The part that kicks in at 1:10 with the choir has to be my favorite part.

29. "Rank Up!" - 5/5

I quite like this little sound effect, feels rewarding.

30. "Sunken Treasure" - 4/5
Oh man this game was a pain sometimes. The song for it was pretty cute though.

31. "Battling Legends" - 5/5

Love this boss music a lot, I would hear it a lot since I would always try to go against legendaries. I'd always die most of the time but it was worth it to hear this cool song.

32. "Infinite Dungeon 1" - 5/5

It was always a joy entering those random dungeons during a journey because they always had cool music like this. My favorite part of this track is definetely the beginning with the "bird" noises.

33. "Infinite Dungeon 3" - 5/5

I never appreciated this track enough as a kid, it's really beautiful. I don't think I heard it as much in dungeons? This is my favorite out of the 3 Infinite Dungeon themes, the way the song transitions and flows is just really wow. That's all I can say is just, wow.

34. "Infinite Dungeon 3" - 5/5

I think I heard this one the most often whenever I'd enter random dungeons. Specifically that one beach-y one, and my this screams beach vibes. This ones a real joy, I love it a lot! The use of steel drums I quite like a lot, as they're a favorite instrument of mine.

35. "Minor Prize" - 5/5

I love this little tune a lot, its very cute.

36. "Illusory Ragged Mountain" - 5/5

I used to not really like this song but the more I listen to it, the more I've begun to appreciate it. I really like where this tends to play too, in places outside of Ragged Mountain or when wandering into a different dungeon if Ragged Mountain has high mysteriosity levels. It really adds to the strange effect of "Oh Arceus where am I". Like it has the familiarity of Ragged Mountain but with a twist. The complete change 0:35 seconds is what made me used to not like it, but now I've grown to really love this whole section of the song. The original Ragged Mountain will always be my favorite but man this one comes really close.

37. "Illusory Holehills" - 5/5

Another theme I used to not like, but have grown to really love. The descending bells 1:00 minute are sooo good, especially since you only really hear them in the background in the original Holehills, so them getting their own spotlight here is really nice. I do also like the fast paced nature of this one compared to the original. The original version of this song will always be my favorite over the two but this one is also really good in its own right.

38. "Illusory Hazy Pass" - 5/5

I used to really hate this one as well, but the more I've listened to it its really grown on me a lot. This song has so many emotions packed into it, I'm not sure if I even have the words to describe it. It's like it tells an entire story in its composition. Starting off futuristic, and going to a more calm fantasy sound, before becoming this heroic and adventurous song combining the previous two sounds. I believe this one is actually based off specifically "Hazy Pass Highlands" instead of the original since it sounds more like it. If it's based off the original, I like it more but if its based off Highlands I don't think I can pick. They're tied as my favorites because both this and Highlands are really amazing songs.

39. "Wrapped In Ligt (Full)" - Bonus Track
This one is just "Wrapped In Light (Intro)" and "Wrapped In Light" combined so I'll be skipping it.

DISC 4

1-24 + 27 are just from previous games and will be reviewed in their respective OST reviews.

25. "Craggy Coast (Remix)" - 3/5

An unusued song from the files that was going to be for DLC. Overall, it's pretty alright. I prefer the original Craggy Coast better but the idea Craggy Coast was going to be DLC in the first place is crazy.

26. "Star Cave (Remix)" - 3/5

Another unusued song from the files that was going to be for DLC. I do prefer the original over this one, but this isn't the worst. I feel like it takes away what made the original sound so magical though.

28. "Vast Ice Mountain Peak (Remix)" - 4/5

Another unusued song from the files that was going to be for DLC. This one actually sounds pretty good! I think the "crystaly" sound fits well with this track. I do prefer the original but this remix also holds up pretty well!

BONUS

Despite the several uploads out there of the "Full" Gates to Infinity soundtrack, they all seem to be missing tracks usually. I decided to put the remaining tracks here since I don't know what order or disc they officially are on.

1. "Beartic Slide" - 4/5

I used to play this game like crazy on my own Paradise, and the theme song for it is pretty cute!

2. "Event Fuon 2" - 4/5

I've seen this track also called "The Bittercold" or "Restless 2". It plays in the area you can go to if you want to prepare for the Bittercold fight/get items from your box.

3. "Skydiving" - 4/5

Plays when you're falling from the sky at the beginning. Simple little tune but its quite nice.
