Mechanics - 4/5
This game acts as an actual Pokédex and has a lot of information for Pokémon all the way up until Generation V. That's one of my biggest issues with it, the fact it only went up to that generation. Despite being released on the 3DS it never got any updates to include any of the new 3DS era Pokémon. The only unlockable Pokémon were Genesect and Meloetta.

Still though, for the Pokémon we did get the game went very in-depth with their information. It gave just about everything you'd need to know about each Pokémon. My only issue with that, though, is how the stats are listed as bars instead of specific numbers. I did really love how it gives you the pronounciation for each Pokémon. There's even different language options too, both for the Pokédex and voice.

I've always really loved how interactive this game is too. Child me spent hundreds of hours on this game (that's the undiagnosed autism for ya). I really like the options to watch each Pokémon preform animations, as well as being able to zoom the camera all around them. I also like how you can bookmark your favorite moves/Pokémon to come back to later.

The Challenge section of the Pokédex was always one of my favorite things to do. I would spend so many hours memorizing information on the Pokédex to be able to get a Perfect score on all of the tests. My favorite one to do was identifying the cries of each Pokémon. I'd also log on daily to do the Daily Challenge the game provides.

Pokédex 3D Pro also has this really cool AR Viewer feature. You can get AR Markers for each of the Pokémon and bring them into the real world! I always loved the different buttons that do all sorts of things to your Pokémon. I mostly loved spam clicking them because of the pretty animations and nice sounds they'd make. Also, each photo you'd take in AR Viewer mode you could have in your Pokédex itself, which is really cool.

There's even an entire Movedex too giving a lot of information! I love how in depth this one is as well, even telling you all the Pokémon that can learn each move and how they learn it.

Graphics - 5/5
The graphics for this game are very beautiful. The models of each Pokémon are very detailed and high quality. Effects such as fire, water, electricity, etc. both on the Pokémon and in their animations are all very high quality as well. The lighting and shading also looks good, and I like how it changes depending on the Scene you have picked.

The environments also look really nice too. My favorite would have to be Scene 4, for how beautiful they made outer space look with the stars and planets and everything. The different window settings are also really cool looking, especially since they're animated and match well with their respective Scenes.

Soundtrack - 5/5
While having a very small OST, the tracks we are given are really good. They're simple, calming, and very atmospheric. My favorite would have to be "Pokédex 3" by Takuto Kisuta, for how space-like and dreamy it sounds.

The sound effects are also really satisfying. I quite like the ones that play whenever you tap buttons within the Pokédex. I also really love the ones that play in the AR Viewer too.

Performance - 5/5
The game preforms super well, I've never run into any issues, glitches, or lag at all. The AR feature also performs really well and its got really good detection for the AR markers.

Final Thoughts

Overall, Pokédex 3D Pro is a pretty good game. Sure, it won't provide the same entertainment as a regular Pokémon game would but for what it's worth its nice. Having an interactive Pokédex that comes with AR features and Challenge quizzes is really cool. Though, I am disappointed that it never got any updates to include future generations of Pokémon. I also think its original price, which was 14.99, is a bit too expensive for a simple game like this.
